What inspired you to launch your own business?
The inspiration for launching my business came about after orchestrating my 10-year vow renewal wedding ceremony. However, the moment that turned my passion from a concept into a business opportunity was when I first designed and coordinated a client's birthday party/celebration of becoming an OBGYN physician. It was during this event that my fellow coworkers and mutual friends witnessed my abilities and have since asked if I can also plan their special functions. The ball kept on rolling from there. When organizing my colleague’s special occasions, their family and friends would likewise inquire about my event planning services from weddings, to baby showers, birthday parties, and so on because of the work I performed. When I turned 30, I planned a birthday bash for all to remember at the Windsor Ballroom at Impacting your World Christian Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. After seeing my work, the venue asked if I was interested in taking the lead as an event coordinator and designer for which I gladly excepted. This opportunity is truly a blessing that has allowed me to grow both as a person and as a business owner.
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
What keeps me most passionate about weddings is the integral part that I play in making a bride’s dreams come true. My primary objective when designing and coordinating a wedding is for but a moment to create a fairy tale experience that will last a lifetime. Upon entering a hall after I have bedazzled it and the look on my clients faces when they walk into that room for the first time is the experience that makes all that I do well worth my efforts.
