I knew at an early age that I wanted to own a business, but honestly had no idea what the business would be. I studied Business and Hospitality at Georgia State University. I fell into the Hospitality program almost by accident. I was a few credits short of a Certification and my Professor urged me to pursue it. I ended up really liking the Event Management side of the program and took an internship with a local company after college. In some way shape or form, I was always involved in planning something from Tea Parties at 8 years old to Prom Committee, Rush Events, and later on weddings. I enjoyed the creative side and the logistics of it all and loved working with people. Eventually, I was being asked to plan more weddings and other events and decided to step out on faith and make something I really enjoyed my lifelong career and my business.
There is something very gratifying about seeing a wedding come together and your clients are so happy. Knowing that we played a part in making this day one of the happiest of their lives is amazing. It’s all about the people for me!
