What inspired you to launch your own business?
I began planning events at 13 years old and continued planning events through high school, college, and for nonprofits that I worked for. In January 2011, I decided to make a career out of my passion for parties, enrolling in a an event planning certification course. I completed my coursework with honors, and Gala Events & Weddings was born!
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
I love supporting couples in their milestone life events, bringing ritual, community, and celebration together in ways that showcase the values of our couples. It's rich to be a part of one of the most meaningful and significant days of their lives, facilitating an abundance of joy and merry-making.
