What inspired you to launch your own business?
While working for a large hotel as a catering and conference services manager, friends of couples who had known me in my previous job as a wedding coordinator for a restaurant, started calling the restaurant asking if I would plan their weddings. It never occurred to me until then that I could just do it on my own and not as someone's employee. The enthusiasm of these first clients gave me the confidence to go out on my own.
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
I love that moment when you step back and see the whole of the wedding design come together, when everyone is cocktailing, socializing, and having fun in an amazing setting and has no idea that I'm even there. I also love how much I feel appreciated by my clients.
