My heart is to help people. I stumbled on a local food pantry where I began organizing one of their largest fundraisers. My church built a beautiful wedding chapel and so I volunteered. These experiences led me to take a step to learn the wedding business and so I found the Bridal Society and achieved a planning certification. Along with my seasoned career in project management and my love for helping others, I was so excited to take the burden of planning thousands of details off my clients with ease. I truly love helping others and this is just another way I can do that and provide them with amazing results.
There are thousands of details that go into planning and executing a wedding. My strengths ooze out when I get to be part of pulling all these pieces together. I love working with all the vendors and creating a rapport with them. And most of all, I love when the BIG day is over, I get that emotional hug from the bride saying, thank you for everything. I feel honored when I am chosen to be part of someone’s life story.
"Hiring Pamela to help us with our wedding planning was the best decision we made among the seemingly endless wedding planning details. She helped guide us through the entire process start to finish. Her experience and references helped us keep our focus, customize our plans according to what was important to us, gently guide us away from decisions that would not have been in our best interest, and help us stay close to our budget. After all the wedding planning was wrapped up and our wedding day ended without anything missing it was somewhat sad to wrap things up because we felt like we had made a new friend along the way. Pamela and Ignite Your Occasion are the best!" --Laura Bradshaw
