What inspired you to launch your own business?
One of my favorite childhood memories is my birthday parties. I would plan each of the birthday parties’ months in advance, everything from what the theme would be to how I would budget it. This fascination with planning events extends well into my teenage years and translates from birthday parties to something a little more serious...weddings! Discovering my love for weddings and how I can affect people and one of the most emotional and important days of their life really made me fall in love with job. Planning someone’s wedding and executing the plan and keeping them on a budget really made me think back to when I was a kid planning my own birthday parties. But I just didn’t jump straight into wedding planning, when I was in college I realized that I had a love for weddings that stemmed from when my Great-Grandmother handed me a handmade wedding gown for my Barbie Doll when I was 5- years old. Since that day my love for weddings existed, and eventually, I developed the love for planning, and it seemed so simple to combine the two and start a wedding planning business.
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
The passion that keeps me going in this industry is the people. Specifically, when you get to bring together two people's dream day, after many months of hard work and logistics, and make it a reality. Seeing the couples’ faces when they see that every detail has come together, that is what keeps me passionate.
