What inspired you to launch your own business?
Blue Wings Events was created in 2016 by Angela Strecker, after nearly 2 decades of event planning in the corporate world. Blue Wings Events believes in what weddings represent and while most of our couples have crazy demanding jobs, their time is very limited. So being that third party in the moments when a counselor and calming presence is needed, in what can be an overwhelming time in their lives is really what they want and need. And to be honest sometimes, actually why they hire us as their wedding planner. Nothing should be cookie cutter with wedding clients except the respect and warmth shown from everyone on staff. Angela has also worked hard to make sure the vendors we work with feel the same way too.
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
I love watching people's vision and dreams become a reality. For some, this has been along-time coming, a rollercoaster, or a fulfillment. For others, there is no focus yet, simply a feeling they want to never forget. I want to make that a reality for them; and we do.
