What inspired you to launch your own business?
I know it sounds corny, but I launched my business to help people. As a trained Social Worker, it’s just part of what I do… who I am. I use all of my Social Work training as a Wedding Planner. It’s funny, Wedding Planners, Educators, and Social Workers have a very similar skill set. I am all of the above. I love that I can make what often seems like the impossible to couples come to fruition. Being able to solve their planning problems and avert problems they didn’t see coming is what makes me feel useful and gives me purpose. Being able to ease a couple’s pain point and be able to enjoy this celebration of love is what made me launch my business.
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
Every new couple is a new experience. I vet my couples carefully… I am not a good fit for everyone and the ones that I end up working with are FANTASTIC! We click, we laugh, we have fun. It’s those relationships that keep it new and fresh.
