What inspired you to launch your own business?
I started Dovetail Events after running the business of a very niche vendor and noticing how often he was forgotten at events. I come from the perspective of having some of the smallest wedding details be my main focus, so I understand how important it it to have a planner that takes attention to detail very seriously. I chose Dovetail Events as my company name and "Dovetail Your Details" as my company slogan for a reason. I want to make sure my couples know that when they choose me as their planner, no stone will be unturned in creating a seamless and joyous wedding experience both for them as well as their vendor team.
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
I love that the industry is always changing. Discovering new trends is such an exciting part of what I do, and I love that the industry is living and breathing (even right now!) and is filled with lots of hard-working creatives. Wedding vendors put their hearts and souls into creating beautiful events and making couples happy on the best days of their lives, and there's nothing more exciting than that!
