What inspired you to launch your own business?
I didn't launch my own business, but I decided to go into the wedding industry because in the fifth grade I was obsessed with weddings. I was obsessed with planning other people's weddings. I would sit and draw them out for hours on end. When I graduated high school I had no idea "what I wanted to be when I grew up." So I went back to my roots and decided to look back into the wedding industry. A few months later, my mom came to me with an opportunity. The owners of The Hackney Warehouse were looking for a new venue manager. (Their daughter was in her kindergarten class!) I went in for an interview and I left with the job. I turned 19 the next week. I am now 23 and I have been so blessed with the opportunities that have been given to me.
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
The endless options and opportunities that come with weddings keep me passionate about weddings. No two weddings are the same. Especially in the design aspect. There are similarities, but each wedding has its own touch of the couple and I love being able to bring that to life with a wedding.

Our wedding this past weekend was more than we could have ever imagined. We loved how the venue included a versatile indoor and outdoor area for our wedding. The outdoor ceremony was truly beautiful. Also cannot thank Lydia Gray enough for her flawless coordination. She walked us through each step of preparation and was so helpful.
